We will be reopening for camping on Monday, June 8th and want to make sure visitors are prepared for a few changes at Mount Baker Farm.
Face Mask Requirements
Before you make your camping reservation at Mount Baker Farm, you should be aware that face masks will be required on our train and inside of all buildings (not required outdoors). Additionally, we will require face masks when interfacing with our staff. We will have cloth face masks (not PPE) for sale if you forget one.
Many businesses on Orcas are also requiring face masks while inside stores and it is not business as usual so be prepared for restaurant closures or new procedures when visiting the Island. We ask that all campers be respectful of our county rules while visiting.
We suggest looking at ferry reservation availability prior to making your camping reservation as space may be more limited than usual. We are still working off a Winter Schedule that offers fewer ferries than the normal Summer Schedule. Face masks are “highly encouraged” at all ferry terminals. People traveling by vehicle are encouraged to remain in their vehicles for the duration of the ferry ride.
Changes for Campers
Please be advised that we are no longer able to rent out tents, bedding or other camping equipment due to county restrictions.
Because of recent events, we had to re-home our donkeys, goats and reptiles back to loving farms. We still have lots of chickens to entertain the kids and we may need help collecting eggs or veggies from our new vegetable gardens.
Disc Golf will be open and free to visitors who bring their own Discs. Because of safety issues we are no longer able to provide Discs.
With all these changes, we know you’ll still have an amazing camping experience at Mount Baker Farm and be able to unwind and relax under the trees. Make your reservation today!
Hope to see you soon!
